POST Press Open Submission
What is POST Press?
POST Press is a little, independent publisher. We strive to bring books we truly love to the right readers. We choose to do things in a small yet passionate way: only publish two to three titles per year, utilize independent sales and distribution means, and promote the books and authors in the long run. We are partial to fiction, narrative nonfiction, poetry, and now novella. The only requirement is that we absolutely love the book.
Since founded in 2016, POST Press has published four titles: Aku, Meps, dan Beps, a collaborative vignette by mother-daughter Reda Gaudiamo and Soca Sobhita; We Are Nowhere And It’s Wow, a poetry anthology by Mikael Johani; and the first two titles in the Na Willa series by Reda Gaudiamo. Your novella could be our fifth title!
But why novella?
Some of our favorite books are novellas: Villalobos’ Down the Rabbit Hole, Zambra’s The Private Life of Trees, and Lispector’s The Hour of the Star. But it seems that people don’t publish novellas as much as we like to read them! So we are very curious on how you can craft a story best enjoyed in one-sitting.
